Infinitive Building Panels

This dataset originates from the SMDH SmarterYield project and contains example data generated from panelised building design CAD files processed using the Infinitive platform. The data is generated from an automated and optimised nesting process, breaking down and organising complex 3D configurations into efficient layouts of component parts on material sheets.

Process: Data is processed with the Infinitive platform to generate and optimise nesting patterns on demand.

Output: This dataset includes 2D layouts of each nested sheet, along with summary data of the material yield and number of sheets for each group of parts. The intermediate data has been included as JSON files, this includes the analysed part data, and the placements of each part on a final nested sheet.

Integration with Other Systems: The nesting placement information is used in a further step to generate the final cutting instructions.
